A beautifully crafted vintage Syrian bench that brings timeless elegance and artisan character to any sunroom, living room, or thoughtfully curated interior. Handcrafted in the tradition of Damascus woodworking, the frame is adorned with exquisite mother-of-pearl inlay, meticulously set into richly toned wood to form refined geometric and floral patterns that reflect the heritage of Middle Eastern craftsmanship.

The seat is upholstered in a hand-embroidered crewel linen (or linen-cotton blend) textile, featuring a graceful stylized bird and botanical motif inspired by historic Suzani and Jacobean embroidery traditions. The intricate needlework adds depth, texture, and a warm, collected aesthetic—perfect for bright sunlit spaces or layered, design-forward living areas.

This item was designed by me and made in my workshop in Damascus, Syria, ensuring an authentic connection to traditional craftsmanship while reflecting my own design vision and attention to detail.

Blending luminous shell inlay, skilled artisan joinery, and richly detailed textile art, this bench serves as both a functional seating piece and a statement of global design heritage. It works beautifully at the foot of a bed, beneath a window in a sunroom, or as an accent in a sophisticated living room setting.

The piece displays subtle variations and gentle imperfections that speak to its authenticity and handcrafted origin, enhancing its charm and one-of-a-kind appeal.
